Here comes the first integrated single ticket for travelling in Puglia and it comes from the synergy between the local railways Ferrotramviaria Spa and Appulo Lucane. It 's a project that covers an estimated number of about one million inhabitants and which will allow local travelers in Puglia and in Lucania (in province of Matera) reaching the airport "Karol Wojtyla" in Bari-Palese with only one ticket, using ticket offices and self service points of sale.
During the the same day, will open the elevator that will connect the binary plan of Appulo Lucane with that one of Ferrotramviaria, allowing travelers to cross from one station to another without having to go outside: it's a structure that can be considered a kind of "gateway to Europe", because that will allow direct access to the trains leading to the airport of Bari.
As soon the sale of integrated single tickets will be possible using also web services on web sites.
